Buon Appetito — Restaurant in Tamarindo

We had such a lovely breakfast experience at Buon Appetito! The owner personally took our order and was incredibly kind and welcoming. Their breakfast special was a great deal—it included both a fresh juice of your choice and a delicious coffee. I also tried their local kombucha in the watermelon flavor and absolutely loved it!

The kids really enjoyed their meals—especially the waffles and pancakes, which were fluffy and flavorful. T had the breakfast burrito and was impressed with how hearty and tasty it was. I ordered the panini, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The small side salad was a nice touch too.

The food was delicious and the owners and staff are so kind and welcoming. The customer service and location was great, and the food was fresh. We had the caprese sandwich and the speck sandwich which were both rich in flavour and high quality ingredients. Definitely a must try the smoked prosciutto added a very unique taste to the speck sandwich and the melted cheese complimented the sandwich as well. They offer a salad with every sandwich which I recommend you should try. For the caprese sandwich the fresh mozzarella cheese made the sandwich really yummy and rich in flavour. We will definitely come back to eat there again...

Randomly walked into the cafe after a morning of tiring surfing and came here almost every morning for food and a little bit of chill, read or work since! The food is all amazing with Costa Rican coffee and authentic, fresh, homemade Sicilian taste of food! A cute little cafe with the best owner in town! Not to mention other things like aloe vera cream. I miss this place and the person so much. 100% recommended.
