The BEST bbq I've had in a South American country so far. Meat fall off the bone good.Crispy onion rings but I thought the yucca would be fried wedges (described as chips after all)turned out to be crisps so don't order them .There are a lot of other sides to choose from.I would have had the sweet potato or potato fries had I known. The bbq homemade sauce was SUPERBE though I'm accustomed to a honey/brown sugar base and this had a more wostershire flavour to it. Besides TWO sides a delicious cold slaw not drowning in myo and a roll was a nice surprise. I ate the slaw. Onion rings some of the delicious ribs and have enough meat for TWO MORE MEALS!!!! This wasTRULY a glorious feast as should be expected as the owner is from N.Carolina. The only thing that spoilt the atmosphere is it's not airconditioned as is most places and the temp that lunchtime was 92 degrees but there are giant fans. Read moreIf you are BBQ enthusiast, I would highly recommend avoiding this place. We ordered one meal with pulled pork and brisket, and another order of ribs. The brisket was horrendous - it was so hard and chewy that we didn't even bother to eat it after our first bite. On top of that, my ribs were so over cooked that the bones were soft enough to crumble in my hands, which is not only a sign of poor cooking but also dangerous to eat. The outside of the meat was so over cooked it had the texture of jerky.
The positives about the place was that the sides tasted good, and the sections of my ribs that were edible tasted fine. The pulled pork had no issues and I did enjoy their variety of sauces.
If you want to come here for a pulled pork sandwich smothered in sauce and a side of fries, this place would probably be fine. However, it was the worst brisket I have ever experienced and my ribs were overcooked to the point where I could only eat half of them. This truly made our experience here a disappointment and we can't recommend...

Even more so was how good the beef brisket was too–it had to be one of the best briskets I’ve ever had, hands down. A lot of it was like large chunks of "burnt ends" which I LOVE, bathed in a sweet crispy BBQ sauce that melted like meat candy in my mouth! I shared the pulled pork with the rest of the family since I had so much brisket with the two sides. Although the corn seemed like it was from a can, it was still good and buttery! This place was so good and at a good value we came back a couple of nights later, but for some reason it wasn't as good and "magical" as the first time around.
