First of all, I should mention that we have lived part-time in the Flamingo/Potrero area for the last (9) years. We have never gone to this restaurant because it is a little bit of a drive from Flamingo. However, we have recently heard from friends that it is a good restaurant, so we decided to try it out tonight, on a Sunday evening. We had high expectations and were looking forward to “adding” another restaurant to our favorites to go to, as well as to have another place to recommend to our friends, and to visitors to our area. We ordered (2) different seafood pastas. Both arrived after about a (20) minute wait, OK, if it is worth the cost of about $25 per dish. We asked for extra garlic in the sauce , and (non-traditional) cheese in the white sauce. We felt very accommodated in that regard. However, the Farfalle pasta was undercooked on the one dish, way beyond ”al dente”, and both dishes had a minimum of seafood to justify the menu price. For a “first-time” visit to this place, for folks that are “ local ex-pats”, I would have expected to be wowed by the dinner tonight. We were far from it. At the end of the evening, it no longer surprised us that we and (1) other couple were the only diners there on a Sunday night. My advice to the owners: Serve excellent, excellent food, so good that its memory lingers, AND in so much quantity that people have to take home left-overs, and then you will have so many prospective customers that reservations will be required to get a table at your restaurant. NEVER EVER try to cut down on your overhead by reducing the quality, or the quantity, of the food you serve! We wish you well, since good restaurants make our area a more attractive place to live, as well as to visit as...

Tucked away in the same plaza as the fish market next to BCR...
