Came here with high expectations since the reviews rave about authentic Mexican food. I am Mexican and part of my family is from Mexico City (AKA “DF”). I don’t believe in bashing businesses which is why I’m giving a 3-star review.
Food is good, but nothing to rave over. Portions are small and incredibly expensive. A torta the size of my hand, I wear size small in gloves, cost $18. Chips with 3-tablespoons of picadio n beans $10+. I was with a group and we all wanted to try the tortas so we all ordered different styles tortas. We were the only guests at the restaurant, waitress took our order, then shortly after another guest arrived. A few minutes later the waitress comes back and tell us they are short 1 torta. Then the order comes out and we realize she gave our torta to the other guests which by the interaction seemed he was a regular. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it did piss us off.
I won’t be back. At least not until they adjust their prices. We spent almost $70 for lunch. Not worth it...

The chicken quesadilla was OK but nothing special. If there was chicken in it we didn't see or taste any. Probably got the cheese option and paid for the higher priced one.
The burrito was better but lacking in the flavors one would expect of this dish. They did provide 2 small bowls (the size you use for sushi soy sauce) of pico de gallo and crema to give the dishes some pizzaz but those emptied after a couple of bites.
As noted the service was good but nothing special. Atmosphere open air but not a lot of breeze so it can be hot.
Overall an OK experience and worth a visit if you've tried the other places in the area and are seeking...
Read moreAmazing food! Loved the Burrito bowl! My husband had steak burrito and breakfast burrito! We also had Yellow brick road (pineapple/mango/banana smoothie)and the Natural Aguas Frescas (passion fruit flavor). They were refreshing and exactly what we needed in a hot day. We toped it off with tres leches!
Staff and owners were very friendly and helped us answer questions about local rental stops.
Edit: We went back and took pictures this time. We reached the restaurant for breakfast. Started with Strawberry fields smoothie and passion fruit juice. We got complimentary nachos with black beans.
I ordered same steak bowl and my husband had breakie burrito and...
