La Jama Playa Potrero — Restaurant in Tempate

Ceviche and fries were good. Casado sea (?) was at best mediocre with very little fish. Mohito was terrible. Served us appetizer after we had dinner. Service was terrible and for most of the time, we were the only people sitting in the restaurant. Same person making food, attending walk up window and waitress so you never saw her and couldn't get her attention. Then there are all the fumes from the cars and trucks constantly going by and the view of 20 garbage bags on the ground across the street. There are much better places to eat than this....

We ate at la jama almost every day during our two weeks in Potrero. The chef is a machine ! Can send 10 plates in perfect timing, and he is alone to do everything (also the cleaning). This was the best value for money we found, the salads change also because I think they were using fresh products only so it depends what they have. My family of seven just had a wonderful meal at this funky and eclectic restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It is a definite must stop location if you are in the potrero area. For those dog lovers out there, they have a couple of adorable pups that will happily greet your arrival and sit by patiently waiting for all the attention they can get. Overall a great vibe paired with wonderful food. We will be back before we have to head back home...
