Corazón Surf Café — Restaurant in Veintisiete de Abril

I am so grateful to have this amazing cafe in our neighborhood! The space is cute and casual—there’s outdoor seating and a lounge area that is such a vibe. If you venture around, you’ll come across chickens and neighborhood pups who might want to share your pastry. You can order at the counter or at your table through their waitstaff. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. Their menu offers a range of coffees, juices, superfood bowls, sandwiches, toasts, and fresh baked goods. They are always adding new additions to their menu and everything is fantastic! They use fresh ingredients and their dishes are prepared really well. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—but I really like the Avocado Toast, Mushroom Toast (if you want something a little more decadent), Bagel Sandwich, Croissants, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. I’m not a coffee connoisseur but I love it here! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything they make. Corazón is a must if you are in the area!...

First time experiencing the Corazon, but certainly won't be the last!

My wife and I enjoyed breakfast twice due to our schedule and wished we had more days to enjoy more options.

The owner has so much passion for his work (see photo below as an example); is kind and gracious with his time and energy!

The entire staff was prompt, courteous and helpful in everyway. The ambiance can not be easily explained - it is outdoor, but yet as cozy as if you were tucked inside next to a fireplace during the winter.

We have another trip planned next November and will be eating here everyday (we stay in an Air BnB at Finca Los Pargos).

I had my best experience in a coffee shop at this place ! I went there once and I had no expectation, I took my coffee and was surprise about the quality, and the staff was so friendly with me so I went back 2 times per day, everyday, during my stay of 2 weeks. I had so much questions about the barista job, and this barista answered every one of my questions in a way where I started to appreciate even more the coffee. I was also there to practice my spanish and the locals was very friendly to speak and practice with me in spanish, having interesting discussions with them, even if everyone speaks english.

I even bought a shirt from there, because of the experience I had, and I wear it proudly in Canada.
