Brenner Grill — Restaurant in City of Zagreb

A Sunday family lunch (with a prior reservation). We really enjoyed our time there, the service is fast and the food really good.

First thing you'll notice is the impeccable modern design, and that it's full of people - I strongly recommend calling ahead.

The staff is dressed in a uniform matching the theme, I like the look of it. Our waiter memorized our orders without needing to write them down. The food is really good, but there are no vegan options, and the only plainly vegetarian one is the "Vegetarijanska salata". Bonus points for having sweet potato on the menu.

We had "Teleca juha", "Pileci becki" with sweet potato (batat), "Pileci file", cevapi in a delicious sauce, and a steak. Everyone was satisfied with their meals and couldn't finish all of it. (there were four of us)

What I didn't like as an environmentally conscious person was the automatic serving of plastic straws, having takeaway in styrofoam (which I detest; it was given to another family but not us) and a plastic bag (against new regulations that demand plastic bag fees).

They could also use some noise barriers or other noise absorption methods, as it was super noisy the entire time.

We went to Brenner Grill for lunch and had a great experience. The service was amazing — our waiter was friendly, attentive, and even took the time to recommend some dishes.

Brenner Grill offers a wide variety of food options, so there’s something for everyone. We ordered the Straccialata with Lada, a burger, and the Gurmanska plata. My personal favorite was the Straccialata — everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.

Prices are reasonable, around €20–30 per person, which is quite fair for the quality and portion sizes.

The restaurant is also very accessible for families. There’s a large free parking lot right in front, and another paid parking area next to it. For those with kids, there’s a fenced-in playground behind the restaurant, which is part of the property. It’s safe and secure, so parents can relax and enjoy their meal while the kids play nearby.

A closer look revealed a trendy, grill restaurant with several patrons enjoying what "BRENNER" had on offer.

Staff polite and accomodating, took us in on a seconds notice, our table overlooking garden terrace pergola. A look at the menu showed classic a thorough selection of Croatian grilled meat and other various dishes to complement the palette 🎨 in several directions.

We went for Yearling Beef Čevaps served on plate with onion, Kajmak, Grilled Mushrooms accompanied by Somun breed. A definite 🎯.
