Restaurant Maslina — Restaurant in Grad Cres

We had two pizzas and a mixed calamari plate for 2 persons, featuring calamari fritti, grilled calamari, calamari filled with rice and ham (of all things), and calamari risotto. We had some local white wine to wash it all down. The pizzas were relatively decent, if a bit bland, but passable. The fried and grilled calamari were ok, but very likely frozen imported stuff, and not localy sourced. The filled calamari was just plain strange, and the risotto was the saddest thing since Mufasa was trampled to death by a stampedo of crazed gnu. Utterly inedible. The wine was passable. The service was horrible - the waiter was incredibly impolite and dissinterested in actually earning his pay, often making remarks to other customers. Hard pass...

Good food, more choice than every other place we've been on the island so far, friendly and quick service, decent prices. I should have given the waitress a tip and I forgot so my partner got mad at me for being stingy to someone who's been so nice to us during the whole time we've been there. So if she ever reads this - the waitress, not my partner, we're OK now in case you're worried - I'm sorry I didn't give you a tip. You absolutely...

Pizza, tuna steak and t-bone all of them were amazing very regret that we didnt stoped by before. . Very friendly and make urself home.....
