Café Fortuna — Restaurant in Cárdenas

Super friendly staff and good coffee at way cheaper prices than the tourist restaurants/cafes. They also have bottles of water at more than half the price of most restaurants! (To give you an idea when looking at the attached photos, at the time of writing, the exchange is about 1USD=150 Peso)

Came here several times during our trip. Highly recommend for coffee! It’s also super cute and all the seating is outside under a nice big cover.

Both times I had coffee here (1st half of 2022), the service was good, the coffee was hot and delicious. Although this place is a bit far from the main touristic spots of Varadero Village (i.e closer to the entrance of the peninsula), it's open-air but covered and breezy, which can be useful.
