It should have been a red flag when the waiter refused to show me a menu. Second red flag was when an ostensible bar had no beer. Nevertheless, trusting soul that I am, I expected to be charged a reasonable price, perhaps even a premium by Cuban standards for simple street fair. One mojito, one plate of fried potatoes and one virgin pina colada came to $45.50. Or so I was told. The arithmetic was opaque, the mojito even more so. The pina colada came from a vendor across the street who had just charged me the equivalent of $2.00 for a pina colada 1/2 hour before. Dante reserved the 8th circle of the domain of the wicked for this specific type of character. The willingness to perpetrate such a deed, on Good Friday at that, demonstrates an indifference to one’s eternal fate that renders indisputable the error of visiting such an establishment. To serve food and drink requires a level of trust that would be misplaced at Calle 62. Third red flag. Rated A for avoid...

Belle endroit à visiter avec animation, spectacles et chanteurs. L'alcool est un peu plus cher qu'au Beatles ( autre bar à varadero ). Arriver assez tôt pour avoir une table car l'endroit est très populaire auprès des touristes.
