Rooftop Terrace Bar-Restaurant Muñoz Tapas — Restaurant in Trinidad

We chose this restaurant based on the high ratings, but honestly, in Trinidad, that's not a reliable indicator: 80% of restaurants have a 4.9 rating, as if it were a village of gourmet chefs... on google.

We turned a blind eye to the prices, which are much higher compared to other places around.

We ordered the croquettes: edible, but way too greasy, and to make it worse, topped with mayonnaise.

I noticed they use sauces everywhere to "decorate" the dishes, but good food doesn't need to be dressed up.

Trusting the reviews once again, I ordered the lobster and vegetable burrito — big mistake.

It turned out to be a stew of cabbage with a few pieces of lobster of questionable freshness and an unpleasant taste.

I had imagined a real burrito with rice and beans... wishful thinking.

Honestly, whoever recommended this dish in the reviews — have you ever actually eaten good food?

Next to us, another table ordered lobsters and they were clearly disappointed as well.

Please, don't expect Mediterranean-style lobster here — the price alone should be a warning.

Even the tomatoes were sour.

Google review brought us here and it turned out one of the best experiences so far relating to hosting, being pampered from the lovely service, multilanguage lovely people working here and last but not the least, delicious and fresh food! You can choose to sit inside, in the balcony or terrace as well, find your comfy place and enjoy. Everything is being served and explained so carefully, that you need to ask no other questions! Wifi also available!! Everyone from the staff shared the willingness of helping, special thanks go to the young guy, Odeivi, speaking 5 foreign languages, just to be able to communicate correctly with people visiting Cuba from all over the world, isnt that lovely?!! 10 out of 10! Excellent food, quantity and quality wise, outstanding service, amazing employees. They have all kinds of different dishes from all around the world, and they are all authentic. Wheter you are carnivour or vegeterian or vegan, these guys will make fantastic dishes for you. They have wifi, backup power generators(in case of power outages), fantastic rooftop view,... Every meal is a piece of art, well prepared and decorated, from plain cheese and ham sandwich right down to lamb roast and pasta and everything else on the menu. I have to point out to their amazing staff because they even baked a cake and organized a surprise birthday party for our friend. Keep up the good work Yarkenia, Odivi...
