They don't accept credit cards and use their own currency system for foreign payments, all to dodge taxes. Instead of issuing a proper invoice or receipt with tax details, they use their own POS order system. This place reeks of tax fraud.
On top of that, they treat local Cypriots terribly. Everything is an extra charge—ketchup, mayonnaise, bread. The service is excruciatingly slow, and the staff never have a kind word. The owner acts like their restaurant is the best in the world just because they serve Georgian food, yet their menu is a confusing mix of Italian and French. They can’t handle criticism and respond defensively to negative reviews.
The prices are outrageous, even higher than Limassol, with terrible value for money. Locals deserve better! I’d give zero points if I could, but one is the minimum. Avoid this place unless you want to feel ripped off, eat lousy food, and be disrespected. Hopefully, a real Georgian restaurant opens in the North that respects local customers, serves good, have delicious food and pays taxes. Just look at their responses on Google Maps and Tripadvisor to see what I mean. They also force customers for 5* reviews! Everyone will see their comment on my review too so that it will be a proof how disrespectful they are. I don’t even know if they will understand English and also will reply in English or not, worst place. THEY FORCE CUSTOMERS TO WRITE POSITIVE COMMENTS AND GIVE 5 STARS HERE, THEY EVEN CHECK CUSTOMERS’ PHONES, THEY FORCE CUSTOMERS TO SHOW WHAT THEY WROTE ON GOOGLE MAPS! DONT FOOL TO THE COMMENTS AND...
Read moreRespond to the owner: Like many others who left negative reviews, I can obviously afford your menu. I just choose not to spend that money on bad food. As I mentioned, had we enjoyed the starters, we would’ve gladly continued with our order. But what we got was truly disappointing.
Of course we thanked you, because you served us regardless of the experience.
If you’re the kind of business owner who keeps track of the lemon slice in a customer’s soda, maybe it’s your own financial situation you should be reflecting on.
Before questioning your customers’ financial status, perhaps focus on improving the quality of your dishes, and reconsider the condescending tone you use to respond to feedback. It’s not a great look for a restaurant owner. I highly recommend anyone considering eating here to read this and other negative reviews carefully, especially the way the owner responds to customer feedback. That alone says a lot.
It was our first time trying this Georgian restaurant. We planned to order main dishes and khachapuri (Georgian cheese bread), but decided to start with some mezze plates first. Unfortunately, what we received was a bland and undercooked plate of vegetables that we couldn’t even finish. So we ended up not ordering anything else.
The prices are quite high—khachapuri alone was 900 TL—which feels hard to justify given the quality and overall experience.
Also strangely, they don’t serve khinkali, the famous Georgian dumplings, which felt like a big omission for a...
Read moreDO NOT GO THERE!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! The food was so bad it tasted horrible and full of garlic and salt, completely missing the taste of authentic Georgian cuisine. They lie by saying salt is only on the table and they don’t add salt at all in the kitchen!
They trick you by saying they will give you a free gift if you leave them a positive review! NO PROFESSIONAL RESTAURANT DOES THAT! Never in my life I’ve experienced something like that! The restaurant should be ashamed of serving this food! They don’t offer card payment and they say they only accept cash - for sure to avoid taxes as we didn’t receive a receipt- and they don’t inform you about it! Instead they say it’s on the menu, well yes with the tiniest letters available! The prices are extraordinary and I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks the same!
PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!!!
Ps* I wasn’t an employee of the restaurant either hahah as they tend to...
