This is a typical Turkish style restaurant with all the comforting foods you can imagine sans the embrace of Mama herself but more than made up for by the warm welcome of the waiting staff who fell over themselves to keep us topped up with lovely home-style Turkish cuisine with the menu sourced chiefly from Istanbul but with influences from all around Turkey including Northern Cyprus (with the addition of rice and ample shredded chicken) that made this Tavuc Chorbasi soup which was a meal in itself, ample reason to return anytime but especially when its 14 degrees outside as it is today. When the meze arrived l had difficulty forcing it down but this was because l had filled up with delicious hot-from-the-oven etmek/ bread which was delicious and so had to packet my main course to take away as l had no room for it. Drinks (water in our case) was given straight away: good for thirsty clientele and good for business because there is every reason to empty these whilst we awaited delivery of our food and would possibly require more thirst quenchers (a good practice for here particularly as it's hot and humid outside from April to November.)
