ILLY CAFFE Cyprus — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

I am writing to express my deep disappointment about an incident that took place during my recent visit to your café, located inside in the Mall of Limassol.

I visited with my family and my 17-month-old baby. During our visit, my baby was playing with her aunt and picked up a piece of plastic with an advertising sticker on the table. They started naming the colors on it. Suddenly we heard from the next table where a woman was sitting a commanding voice saying, “Don’t touch the item!” And we said, “Excuse me? This is nothing that concerns you,” and in front of all the other customers she stood up and said, “I am the owner here and I don’t want you to touch the sticker,” in a horrible and insulting tone, even though there was no damage, and she shouted that she was the owner, implying that she had the right to insult us in this way. Stay away from racist people towards our children let them put up a sign that children are unwanted, that they are not allowed to move, talk, or breathe. Awful behavior, insulting and above all unprofessional, and she even put the employee in a difficult position to come and say loudly that she is the owner, making the incident even worse, to insult us in this way in her cafe , which is open to the public.

Her behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate, especially toward a family with a small child. If children are not welcome to move or interact in a family-friendly space, there should be clear signage, not public shaming.

As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy. This experience has left us deeply upset, and I believe it should be addressed so that other families do not have to endure the...

I came here for breakfast, my wife and I ordered the illy breakfast and spinach omelette.. I asked the waiter if I could remove the mushrooms and spinach and replace them with ham in the omelette, the same as the other on the menu but keeping the feta cheese . A very harsh No 'we only takes out and don't add from the other SAME price omelette. My reply ok bring what you want. The food was good ,not what I wanted and ordered but their staff is terrible a total waste of 35 euros , We won't go back , this meal is 24 euros in a pub and you get great service in Cyprus , this place is rude expensive and a 5 out of 10 Avoid if you want to change an ingredient on the menu....

We stopped for a quick coffee after shopping and eventually lasted a little bit longer.
