As always, the food was really yummy! The waitress who took our order was very attentive and friendly too. We waited around 15mins for the bill and had asked four members of staff, but it doesn’t really matter.

The only thing which was a bit off-putting was that one of the other waitresses (Becky?), actually scrapped leftover food from plates and pans onto the table cloth next to us. When clearing dishes from a table, when other customers had left, this waitress loudly scrapped all their leftover food (like prawn shells, fish bits and rice) onto the table cloth. She left the scraps on the table for 5-10mins while she went to do other work. There was just a mountain of rubbish and food waste left on the table. The same waitress then came back and rolled the food into a giant paper burrito to take it away to the bin. In all the times that I have visited Ocean Basket locations - and all other restaurants in general - I’ve never seen a member of staff make a fishy table cloth burrito. I had an absolutely delightful experience at Ocean Basket My Mall. The food was exceptional—every dish was a perfect balance of flavors and beautifully presented. The ambience was warm and inviting, with just the right combination of elegance and comfort, making it ideal for both special occasions and casual dining.

What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service provided by our waiter, Morena. From the moment we were seated, Morena went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and her friendly demeanor made us feel genuinely welcome. I regret to say that my recent experience at Ocean Basket was quite disappointing. My group of three arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately, the service fell far short of what we anticipated.

Upon placing our orders, two of us received our meals after an extensive wait of 45 minutes. This delay was already quite frustrating, but what was even more disheartening was that our third colleague had to endure an additional wait of 1 hour and 20 minutes before finally receiving his food.

The prolonged wait times significantly dampened our dining experience, and the lack of coordination in serving our group was unacceptable. I hope Ocean Basket takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure better service for future patrons.
