Sumo Sushi & Bento — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

Let's begin with the positive. Friendly service and the food was fresh and good. We were very satisfied with the food itself.

There is room for improvement.

Too many things on the menu were simply not available. Half of the wine list was not available. They didn't have white fish, considering it is a sushi restaurant and it's on the menu. And there were other items on the menu not available either.

When the waiter was pouring my beer it foamed over, this can happen to everyone it's not a critic. But the waiters reactions was, it's because the beer is not cold. In that moment I was thinking why are you serving a warm beer for me?

We asked about the Green Tea milkshake before ordering it for our son, and the waiter told it's good. Well if you like something or not is a personal preference, this is not a critic of the drink. But when we told the waiter she could take it away and we ordered a different drink, she said "yes I know it's awful, I don't like it either." the same waiter who said it was good, LOL.

In the restaurant they need use a Broom from time to time.

The toilets were awful, there were Mountains of paper in the bins, flowing over onto the floor. dirty toilets, no toilet paper.

Despite the hiccups we had a fun time, the food was good. If they manage their stock better and have a cleaning schedule to make sure sanitation is in orde, I would give...

Even though I was skeptical at first when I saw this place for the first time, all of my doubts were cleared as soon as I walked inside.

The atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and the service all together were excellent. But what about the food will you ask?

Amazing!! Huge Japanese cuisine fan and this place has it on point. Their refreshers are just great! The staff was very supportive and understanding of my food allergies and they have alternated all the rolls just to my liking and needs. Also had miso ramen that felt like a real ramen (not the case in most places, unfortunately). And last but not least, when I asked to take it to go THEY offered to separate the noodles from the broth. I mean… how else can you make a ramen fan happy :)

100% would recommend this place, especially for quick lunch breaks, food came extremely fast and freshly made, but also for nice friends gatherings, since they have soooooo many shareable platters botth for sushi and other starters.

Unfortunately,,,2stars i always order chef platter you was amazing i have you very high,,and it was expensive plate of course but it deserve it,i was really enjoying that plate until last time i order,last time i order i open with so much pleasure to eat the box and I see inside the chef plater:instade of salmon with caviar that you put the other times i order,it was this white fish with caviar ok after i see always you was putting me extra grap and octopus, octopus was missing,and the worst???tuna sashimi and nigiri was bad about fresh i mean you can eat it to be honest but nothing to do with the quality i have the before times,my question the guy who prepare my order he didn't see the tuna and in the sashimi and nigiri that was bad or he just close his eyes this is how i feel but it wasn't anyway one the mistake it was 3,and this brake me I didn't enjoy my expensive plater last time and am onest you...
