The Smuggers — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

Came across this place while visiting Cyprus recently, and I have no idea where these AMAZING reviews come from. Very very POOR quality burgers. Let me explain - I initially came into this place thinking it looked a cool spot to come to eat, drink and relax with friends - because that’s what they try to emulate. Menu looked confusing so I asked the cashier girl for recommendations which she just rolled her eyes at. Cashier girl at the front is super awkward and needs to learn how to speak to customers without a smug look on her face (very socially awkward and smug). Finally ordered a regular burger and a spicy chicken burger, both of which were okay at best. Then got the loaded fries, which came out super cold and was told it was cold due to the sauce they used, but not before the manager seemed to imply that it was my fault it was cold to begin with. I would give it one star if I could, but I got my money back for the fries so I gave them one more. Overall, terrible experience, there are plenty of better burger places in Cyprus, everyone who seems to think they know about burgers and claims these are the best burgers clearly doesn’t know what they’re talking about. And before people comment saying what are my credentials, I know what makes a good burger burger because I’m actually FROM where burgers...

Ordered a cesar salad. I added the option of extra chicken for 3 euro.

Whne the salad came, it only had 4 pieces of chicken. To my surprise, I went back to check the menu, just in case I had missed something. Turns out, to this place, Cesar salad doesn't automatically mean chicken like it does everywhere else.

Fair enough, I called the shop to try and explain to the owner how this cna be very misleading and sour the experience. The guy started shouting over the phone, saying he has 22 years of experience in the business, and that's the original recipe for a Cesar salad, and that it was Cypriots' fault for expecting the salad to come with chicken by default.

Since I hadn't called to get into a shouting match, I said thank you very much and hung up the phone. I doubt I will be buying from this place in the future. The experience with the owner / manager soured the experience of an otherwise tasty dish.

Having to pay 9 euro for my salad to have chicken, is way over priced and not in any way excused by the quality of the food presented. It tasted good, but not 9 euro for...

I visited tonight The Smuggers and was blown away by the quality of their burgers. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, which set the tone for an enjoyable dining experience.

The menu offered a wide range of burgers to choose from, each one more tempting than the last. I eventually settled on the classic cheeseburger, and I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The juicy, all-beef patty was cooked to perfection and topped with melted cheddar cheese. The bun was soft and pillowy, and held all the ingredients together beautifully.

In addition to the delicious food, the service at The Smuggers was top-notch. Our server was attentive and made sure our experience was as enjoyable as possible.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Smuggers to anyone looking for a great burger. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for burger lovers. I can't wait to go back and try some of their...
