Σουβλάκια Καζαμίας — Restaurant in Nicosia

We’ve visited this restaurant about five times this summer, and while the food is generally good, there’s one consistent issue that keeps it from being excellent: the salt.

The flavors are there, the ingredients seem fresh, and the atmosphere is pleasant — but the salt level in the dishes is consistently too high. Food was very average and very overpriced. Tachini was factory made, tasting like cheap toxic starter, pitta was stiff, portion of souvlakia small and overcooked and fried potatoes frozen and tasteless. Restaurant full of flies and very very hot, due to luck of proper shading. Not to mention you are in danger of being fined by police, for parking in the neighbouring streets, due to luck of parking space. There are way better quality taverns in the area with way better prices. I would not go...

Decent food for a high price and trash service. There's only 3 waiters for too much tables, the souvlaki is meh at best, it's small and overcooked but with a decent flavor. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant when it's crowded, you'll be sitting for 2 hours at least.

Honestly, it was a unforgettable experience and I hope that I got blacklisted, after asking the bill one waiter confronted me telling me that I should order at the start, even if I don't know the menu....
