Cafe la Mode Acropolis — Restaurant in Strovolos

Even though M&S has been one of my favourite stores to buy clothes from I can't say the same for its café. Today after having visited the place I felt that the furniture needs updating whilst at the same time the decoration gave me an all in all impression of a rather déjà vu and dull atmosphere. I sat next to the window where the view, I have to admit this, is quite impressive. Bad customer service, the restaurant was not busy and we were waiting for a waiter to bring us our total for 20 minutes. They were extremely rude about it as well. Food was not made fresh, it was merely cooked from frozen from your items from your local supermarket, and it was so bland as well. It is a joke. The atmosphere is good but the food is subpar. If you want to go for drinks with friends, great choice. If you want to eat, not so much.

I had shrimps (overcooked) and chicken (overcooked). The pasta sauce was bland and ironically the pasta wasn't cooked through - and no it wasn't al dente either.

The supervisor was very understanding and ended up removing the subpar items...
