We were worried about finding somewhere to eat in Paphos Old Town on a bank holiday Monday, but one of the lovely staff at our hotel told us about her fiancé’s restaurant and booked us a table there. It was off the beaten track, away from presumably the more touristic, busy restaurants.
We had a warm welcome from the owner who talked us through the menu. We went for x2 of the Meze (plenty for x4 people) along with some side dishes. Highlights were the chicken kebab and halloumi & lounsta. We also ordered a portion of grilled chicken which was very good.
Finished with a glass of ouzo (or a local sweet sherry type liqueur for me), and a slice of home-made orange cake (made by the owner’s mother).
We were the only table at first as we booked for 8pm, but come 9pm, locals started arriving.

Just keep in mind that it is a very copious amount of food as we had to take it away ! Overall the best restaurant if you're looking for a fine...
