Two Friends Tavern — Restaurant in Pissouri Municipality

Such a friendly tavern with food that feels genuinely homecooked and authentic. Service was pleasant and quick, not at all invasive. The warm bread served as an appetiser with houmous, tahini, and olives was delicious and the mains were all beautiful, piping hot and very flavoursome. Can’t recommend it enough and may actually return later on in my holiday to sample more of what the menu has to offer!

I’d highly recommend the Moussaka, which was unreal. Any dish that comes with potatoes is also recommended as the potato side dish was wonderful - lovely crispy potatoes in a garlic butter. A delightful...

Wonderful friendly taverna atmosphere. Wonderful traditional Cypriot food with great hosts. They do probably the best brandy sour on Cyprus (I highly recommend you try it). Their clay pot dishes are to kill for and the views are awesome. It is just as good in the winter as in summer. In the winter they have a massive stove in the center of the taverna to keep the place warm, in the summer they remove it and throw open the huge windows so a wonderful breeze comes through. We visited to celebrate a friend's birthday and very much enjoyed our evening. We asked for salad to share which came with lovely hummus and tahini, green cracked olives and village bread with oregano and olive oil. The salad was excellent with plenty of crumbled feta. Our main meals were very tasty and the portions were generous. We had Tsiakkas wine (delicious) to accompany our food. The service from the friendly owners (Panicos and Panicos) was excellent throughout. The view towards Avdimou/Episkopi/Limassol is superb. We're looking forward to our next visit - good value....
