This was recommended by friends that have visited it before. They had mixed feeling’s about it, however our experience was different- small family run tavern with family like atmosphere, honest recommendations when it comes to food , generous portions and very authentic home cooked style food. Food was delicious, local cheese that is grilled in spices, local village wine. The place is always packed so try and book it or if you want to try your luck them I would suggest mon-fri however we were there on Tuesday and we got lucky with table availability. Mostly local residents or Cypriots are there. My recommendation is that you can have authentic experience and food there. This is one of the best restaurants you will find in Cyprus. I can't confirm the accounts that locals get less Meze and less food overall. You need to come early as tables will fill up with locals soon (early is about 7-8pm). The first time I was there we met a family whose grandfather had grown up in the village and he raved about how it was still like in his childhood, food fresh from the fields and everything.
