Been to this restaurant many times, but definitely won't be going back again. The owner doesn't seem to work/cook here any more. The service was terrible, the waitress came to our table to take our order (eventually) but we hadn't even been given a menu, we had to ask for one. My husband asked for the lamb chops, but they were off the menu, we both had the T bone steak. We asked glfor mushrooms with it, but we weren't given any, apparently mushrooms don't come with a T bone steak!! The salad it came with was literally tomatoes and cucumber cut up, no dressing on it and none on the table. My steak was so tough I couldn't even cut it, the chef asked me how my steak was, I told him and he didn't seem that bothered that I couldn't actually eat it. Couldn't wait to get out of there. I will definitely Not be going back there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone !!! Such a shame because my parents went there for years. I am Greek Cypriot and know my food in...
Read moreOriginally gave this 4 stars & a "Nice typical Cypriot cuisine" comment after visiting in October 2017 but have edited after a visit again in April 2018 just before the greek easter. We were the only customers in there at 7pm and only the boss serving & cooking on his own. Running his hands through his greasy hair continually was a definite hygiene risk. Terrible food. Ordered a Meze for 2 while the kids ate Calamari & a Doner meat dish which looked like it was 2 days old dry & overcooked. The Meze was the worst we've ever had & being Cypriot we've had hundreds. The meat was tough & chewy, & tasted like it had been cooked the night before and just warmed up. Everything we had was horrible except for the chips & grilled Halloumi. You can't really get that stuff wrong can you. Will definitely not be returning. Worst...
Read moreOne of my favorite places for a proper Greek souvlaki, hands down. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and this year they've definitely stepped up their game even more. I usually get takeout, but we decided to dine in this time. The food came out quickly, and every bite was absolutely delicious. This is a family-run business, which adds a special touch that you just don't find anymore. The prices are very reasonable, and it's a kid-friendly spot too. Whether you're craving a traditional souvlaki, a massive pork chop, or anything else on their menu, it's worth the drive into the village. I wish I had taken more pictures of our meal,(next round) but I was too busy enjoying the food! Definitely a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic...
