KASKÁDA — Restaurant in okres Ostrava-město

I have been to this restaurant many times since it’s pretty close to me and people around me go there quite often. The food is really nice although I must say that the desserts are way nicer than the food. Even though the food itself is tasty, the price for the quality is just too much. Meanwhile the desserts are really rich, creamy, luxurious and have a fair price.

The service is pretty good. I never had any issues with any bad service in this place.

The biggest con for me is the atmosphere. There is not much to do to change this but I believe that if the restaurant was not open to the foodcourt space but sort of reserved (like Colosseum) it would definitely attract more customers. The placement of the restaurant is pretty bad since it’s right next to McDonald’s and people tend to ignore it. Since it’s not reserved from the food court, sometimes it tends to be pretty loud. The music that they play in here is also pretty bad. It’s just some contemporary pop music which is in the top 10s. It just doesn’t suit the restaurant...

2025, and still no plant-based milk options for those with allergies or food preferences. On top of that, we stood waiting at the ice cream aisle while the staff chatted for five minutes without acknowledging us — we had to approach them directly just to be noticed. The young woman with long black hair who served us didn’t seem enthusiastic at all and actually looked annoyed by our presence.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was genuinely a disappointing experience — both in terms of product availability and staff attitude.

I took my mom to Restaurant Kaskáda for lunch yesterday, and we had a wonderful time! The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I tried the glazed pork belly with tiger prawns, and every bite was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My mom was equally impressed with her dish.
