Restaurace Cisterna — Restaurant in Prague

Wanted to eat there yesterday. Was recommended to us by the hotel porter. When we were there we found the ambiance more like a train station concourse than a restaurant and the volume was also very annoying. The behavior of the staff very unfriendly. We got the Czech cards thrown on the table in passing and when we asked whether there was also an English card, the only unanimous answer was 'only Czech card'... when we asked further whether he could help us with the translation, the waiter abruptly turned around and walked away... we then left the 'local'... never again! Found another restaurant a few hundred meters away with friendly service, who explained the dishes on the Czech...

A great pub in the living quarters in the outskirts in Prague, near to some hotels. They have good selection of drinks, quite good selection of foods of high quality, including some Czech classics. The outlook of the interior is a real pearl with the copper brewery equipment. The negatives. Despite it's near location to the hotels, its website lacks English version, though it would be good tool to attract other hungry tourists like us. Getting there by foot is a kind of adventure through the house blocks and across the unlit "local organ dealers' park". And last, it's a very eastern European pub, with the smell of stale alcohol and urine from the toilet could be discouraging in...

Naše návštěva restaurace Cisterna byla jednoduše nezapomenutelná! Už při vstupu nás uchvátila útulná atmosféra a přívětivý personál, který se o nás po celou dobu skvěle staral.

Jídlo bylo doslova výborné – každé sousto bylo promyšlené do posledního detailu. Překvapily nás čerstvé suroviny, precizní chuťová harmonie a kreativní způsob servírování. Z předkrmů jsme ochutnali například jemný tatarák, který se rozplýval na jazyku, a hlavní chod byl naprostým vrcholem dne. Dokonale připravený steak nebo pečená ryba, kterou jsme si zvolili, byly opravdovým koncertem chutí.

Dezerty? To byla kapitola sama o sobě. Sladká tečka v podobě domácího tiramisu nás naprosto okouzlila.

Celý večer nás doprovázela nejen skvělá kuchyně, ale i příjemná atmosféra, klidná hudba a pozorný přístup obsluhy, která se postarala o to, abychom si vše mohli maximálně vychutnat.
