Great service from the waiter, from start to finish. Came as a group of 3, two of us ordered the Plov (see photo) having heard that its the national dish of Uzbekistan and read some good previous reviews. One of us ordered veal with boiled dough layers topped with tomatoes and vegetables, sorry no photo!
Neither of the dishes were served as described and my colleague had to pick the tomatoes off the salad to add to her dish as it came with no vegetables or tomatoes!

I also tried the traditional Uzbek salad and it was very refreshing! The Uzbek decorations and colors are truly a sight to see. If you have never tried Uzbek food, I highly recommend Samarkand.
