🤵🏻♂️🤵🏼♀️ Service & Staff:
From the moment we arrived, the service and staff were outstanding. Everyone we spoke to at the reception, bar, shop, and breakfast area spoke clear and excellent English. They were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and eager to explain anything we needed. Not to mention the small gifts we received at the end of our stay and the option to keep the Prague Pass for our next visit — a very thoughtful touch! • The hotel has a shop that’s open until midnight. It offers everything you might need, and hotel guests get a 10% discount. Prices are a bit higher, but still reasonable. • The Prague Pass is given to every guest. By scanning the QR code, you can see all the available discounts. We used it in several places, including the Žižkov Tower, which I highly recommend visiting! • You can store your luggage in a separate room if you arrive early or have to wait for your bus or flight. While there are no lockers or safety boxes, access is limited to hotel staff, which felt secure. • !!! I highly recommend buying souvenirs from the hotel shop. They were much cheaper than those in the city center or outskirts and surprisingly creative and high-quality — far better than the usual “tourist shop” stuff. Definitely take a look!
Ⓜ️🛒 Transportation & Surroundings: • The metro station is about a 10-minute walk away (or less). It takes around 5–7 stations to reach the city center, depending on where you want to go. There are also bus and tram stops at that same station. • I highly recommend installing Moovit (or a similar app) to help navigate the transport system, especially when the metro isn’t an option. • On the way to the metro, there’s a street with public (paid) parking and a Billa supermarket.
🍳 Breakfast:
We only booked the breakfast option, and it was great — wide selection and good quality. It’s served from 6:30 to 11:00. • Hot options: Eggs (sunny-side up and scrambled), sausages, baked beans, bacon, potatoes. • Cold options: Yogurt with various granolas, several types of bread (around 7), spreads like jam, Nutella, and peanut butter, a variety of salads and cheeses. • Desserts: Brownies, puddings, local Czech pastries, and fresh fruit (apple, grapefruit, orange, kiwi slices). • Drinks: Espresso, cappuccino, other coffee types (including decaf), filtered coffee, a great variety of teas, and juices (apple, orange, multivitamin, flavored water).
🛌 Room:
Our room included: • A main room with a large desk and chair, TV, hairdryer, mini-fridge with a small freezer section, a large comfortable bed, two nightstands with storage, three large storage cabinets, and a small safe. You also get a kettle, several types of tea, coffee, and creamer. Tip: I recommend bringing a few extra clothes hangers — we only had four, which may not be enough depending on what you bring. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. • The bathroom was split into a shower area (with sink) and a separate toilet area. Provided amenities included: two large towels, two small towels, a bath mat, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and a small shampoo packet. Tip: Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste — those weren’t included, but everything else was well covered.
🅿️ Parking:
Parking is definitely limited, but we didn’t use it, so I can’t comment on...
Read moreTo everyone who will stay in the future, I feel sorry for you. You really shouldn't stay.
First off; don't let the pictures fool you. The rooms don't look like that. There are stains everywhere, ranging from blood to white stuff and strange brown stains.
The mattresses are awful, if you already have a bad back, the used mattresses won't make it any better. You're literally laying in the whole dozen of people before you have formed. The staff may leave you with dirty sheets so be sure to talk to the reception about it.
If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, because you will either hear busses driving around or the elevator running all night.
The bathroom is like a gas chamber and I'm not exaggerating. The smell of old and moldy water makes it impossible to stay in there for more than a few seconds. If you're taller than 1,70 meters then get used to showering with a bent neck. Because the shower is certainly not tall people friendly. If you shower warm or hot, let the water run for 4-5 minutes because it will be ice cold the moment you turn it on. Also try to shower as quick as possible or you may suffocate in there. There is no blow dryer, but you can rent a 1 dollar mini blow dryer for 500 Czech Crowns. The toilet paper is so cheap, you'll need to tear of 1/4 of the roll to have a decent amount of layers.
The elevators take a long time to move around, taking the stairs may be quicker if you're on the lower levels.
At first there was nothing to drink during dinner until I asked, however, the kitchen staff will turn off all syrup for drinks like grape juice or cola. But don't worry ! You'll have 6 choices of water then ! The food is often awful if it's a buffet, it's either stone cold, dry or straight up looks like food you feed to pigs. Don't forget to bring the paper card they give you at the check in to almost every breakfast/dinner or a lady will not let you enter the restaurant.
The staff at the reception is rude and may cheat you out of your money, so be careful, make sure you know what you're getting and what you're paying for. Don't buy any of their food or snacks from the mini fridge, it's overpriced ! You You can literally get the stuff, triple triplet the amount in the Billa Shop near by.
If you're on the top floors, get used to sitting in the lobby half of the day for the wi-fi. By the way, be prepared to be attacked by strange moths in the lobby and the...
Read moreThis is the best hotel in Prague. Everything from rooms to breakfast was outstanding. First they surprise you with free parking. And if you have a really low car they find you a parking spot behind the hotel where they close the doors so its in a safe spot. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with really nice receptionists ready to help you out with everything you need or dont need. First you get your room key then a pack of things that you normally dont get as a tourist. We got a free prague pass card, a car wash and a card that offers 10% off of every buy you do at their mini market. Not to mention the free welcome drink. Ok great. You get up to your room and kaboom. There they are.. free tea...coffee... bottled water and a bottle of wine. I mean whaaaaat. Then you also notice a pen and some paper where they ask you to tell them what they can improve. Ehm how about nothing you amazing people? You do an amazing job. Fast forward to breakfast. Holy guacamole. Everything freshly made. So many options that its hard to choose so you end up piling up more than you can chew but still eat it all cause you just cant stop. An amazing fact is also that when you want to go to the center of prague you can buy your metro ticket or whichever ticket you want at their mini market. That ticket is for metro, bus.. whatever you want. A daily ticket costs around 5 euros. Last but not least.. the checkout. When you think these nice people are dont with surprises and you just leave your keys there and get on tour way.. na a . They wave a 20 euros voucher at you as a gift and you can spend it on your next stay. Of course thats not enough for these kind people so they also give you water for tour trip and a prague magnet.
Thank you again for everything. I know which hotel i am booking when i come back and i will tell everyone i know about this amazing hotel. Keep up...
