Jerry's Restaurant & Teria — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

We've ordered from this restaurant twice. I can tell you that it's an excellent place to order food from when people in your party want both pizza and burgers. I'm not into pizza, personally, but my boyfriend loves it. I am a burger connoisseur. Sometimes, we will order from a pizza place that happens to also have burgers, and the burgers are very disappointing (since their speciality is concentrated on pizza). THIS place, however, has excellent pizza (my boyfriend was like WOW this is really good pizza, one of the best takeaways we've ordered, you should order here again) AND delicious burgers. They're not like burgers you normally would find at pizza/grill places, where the restaurant is clearly "phoning it in". These burgers are more like the kind you would find at a burger-specialized restaurant. I have tried both the Jerry's Favorite Burger, as well as the Cheeseburger with bacon. Both burgers were good. The bun was nice because sometimes you get burgers with a giant bready dry crumbly bun, but these burgers had soft, tender buns. The cheese was not that gross kind of "smelt ost" that doesn't taste like cheese. The only qualm I had was that the pickles on it were not sweet pickles, but rather the plain salty/sour kind. It would be better with sweet pickles or even fresh cucumber. Otherwise they were super. The second time, I ordered a shawarma, just to see what it was like, and that was pretty "meh" and had too much bread-wrap. So definitely go here for...

The few times i've ordered from Jerrys Pizza i have been satisfied with the food. However tonight I went to get a pack of french fries right before closing time as a late night snack. I ordered and very quickly had my french fries handed to me. When I came home (3 mins away) I opened my french fries. They were cold. They were soggy. They were bad.. To me they were actually uneatable, and definitely not freshly made. To me it says a lot about Jerrys Pizza as a restaurant that they chose to even serve those.. I will not be ordering food from Jerry's...

To be frank, Jerry's quaint little pizzaria located on Jordbrovej doesn't seem like anything special to the unkeen eye, however, i can assure you that it is. During my time living in Aarhus, working deliveries, i was always fascinated and left in awe at their seeming succes and regulars pouring their order in on a consistent basis.
