Masala - Indian Take Away & Restaurant — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

As I an Indian, I had take away from Masala. So I share my view here. Plus points: Good website and easy ordering Quick delivery with smiling faces

Negative points: Naans were awful. Restaurant shouldn't call them Naan because they are not. Dont buy.

They added Channa in all of our dishes which is terrible. We ordered channa masala separately so we dont need channa in my Raita or Biryani. Very unprofessional. Seems like they had excess so they added in all.

Biryani was ordinary, nothing special.

Why Channa masala was so red. It is not suppose to be. Seems like the restaurant added some food colors into it. Dont do that asI dont like. I like natural.

Mango Lassi was fine. Not the best. I had in Zafran restaurant and that was incomparable.

So overall, I give 2 star. I will not buy...

Updated Review (Second tried in July 2023; Rating 4.5) I had a bad first experience but after 2 years I ordered again but this time from Wolt. I ordered Palak paneer, rice and butter naan. To my surprise the food was outstanding. Portions were good, packaging was very nice and taste was very good. I think there was tofu too along with paneer in my dish but can't say for sure. I can now say that they have a good chief and people can try these dishes without hesitation.

Quite upset with what I got in Vegetarian dishes. I went there after checking the reviews. First i'll tell what I liked, then what made me upset. Friendly staff, snall but cute place. I ordered for take away, and packaging was good. Shahi paneer, Rice and mint chutney were good as well. BUT, a naan was something else, but naan. What was zuccini doing in tikka masal and tandoori veg, I didn't get it. Everything tasted the same. It felt like they used 1 masala for every dish.
