Sevag's Grækeren — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

The food is excellent. Especially the grilled foods. However their oven based dishes are a little underwhelming. The musaka was good, but the cinnamon wasn't really present. The meat was dry? I was expecting more sauce with the meat. It shouldn't be swimming, but there should be a little bit.

It was also light on seasoning, and powerful aromatics I normally associate with Greek food.

The bechamel was perfect, and the aubergine was cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. But a single star off, for the slight disappointment I felt.

The Souvlaki was excellent. We had the shrimp, and it was just perfect. Grilled to perfection, perfectly seasoned, just delicious. 5 stars for their grill menu.

The staff was very friendly, polite and professional by Danish standards. No inane chitchat, but they did check on your satisfaction, and tried to actually engage you in a real conversation, rather than just "hello, goodbye".

The restaurant is hygge/cozy with its design and traditionel blue tables for my taste.

The food is delcicious. Even though the fresh ingredients in a greek restaurant in Greece is better due to its freshness (that is hard to compete with in Denmark because the quality, availability and freshness of vegis are generally lower).

The staff is friendly and kind-hearted and the son and daugther off the owner are running the show and create a personal relationship with the customers (otherwise I woudn‘t know that they are the children of the owner).

One of the person I was eating with forgat her glasses after the dinner, we already walked 500 meters and suddenly one of the employees, the daugther of the owner, came running with the glasses. Kindness! Wow! Amazing!

Very disappointing experience! While the staff were generally polite, the overall dining experience was poor. Our starter and main course were served at the same time, and the fried food was overcooked. Service was slow and inattentive — we had to call for attention several times. To make matters worse, the espresso was very bad, and when it came time to pay, they refused to split the bill between two cards. We were told to “just use MobilePay,” which isn’t an option for visitors who don’t live in Denmark. When we explained this, the response was essentially that it was our problem, not theirs.
