Cafe Lucca — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We went to this restaurant for lunch and the first impression was that this restaurant was friendly and half full. We entered the restaurant and were advised to our table next to the window and another pair of Danes sat next to us.

The pair of Danes ordered first even though we tried to get eye contact with the two waitress as if they ignored us. Then we finally got their attention and ordered our food which consists of good two sandwiches and fries plus two cappuccinos.

The meal was good and portions sufficient. While we ate everybody else in the restaurant was treated with respect and the waitresses came often to their tables asking for how the food was and if they needed anything. Even looking at them they never came to our table. Nevertheless we came for the food and enjoy each others company and had a good time.

We sat there for 30 minutes including dinning and was annoyed by the waitress coming by several times next to our seats. Initially we did not paid attention until she took our plates and then she realized that we were not done. Quite aggressive and unpolite.

Food is 3 star and very good except the fries were half black and the extremely lack of service is the 2 star missing in this review.

We got cheated by the restaurant.

Billing: We asked if we can order 7 pcs of brunch (price as 189kr) even though we are two persons, and we were told yes, it’s fine. However when we pay, we were billed for 2x3pcs(2x108kr)+1xextra pc(40kr). It means they cheated for the 67kr without informing us. We may make different choice if we were informed upfront and we can easily accept a no if the waiter says so. Coffee: I asked for laktosfree milk with Normal expresso shot but when we pay, I asked what did I get, I was told it’s Nestle instant...

Overpriced and over the edge expectations to it's costumers like we were all born into the code of conduct, as if it's not different from restaurant to restaurant. I love myself a shooting star (stjerneskud) Knowing i can build it myself for 1/4 the cost it really (REALLY) had to be special but unfortunately .. It was as basic as can be. Nobody is as disappointed as me. Believe me. otherwise a nice place and the service was optimal. P.s. Maybe don't take 200 for a piece of fish with cheap shrimp, caviar and remoulade. Just because,...
