O Tempo — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

The food was not authentic but it was cold, the waiter couldn't spare us a smile even if his life depended on it.

The good parts.: Could easily have fooled any gringo to believe this was Brazilian food, the decor and servings were indeed that of Brazil. The female waiter did warn us that the sauce was hot, and indeed... It was, my behind is still suffering as I write this. They had put a paper flag out, as we had requested (My wife is a professional chef from Brazil, so I wanted to surprise her)

Parts for improvement.: The redheaded waiter sat an instant stopper for our mood as we entered, and didn't bring as much as a smile. Given, we were requesting to get a different table, to sit outside. The menu explained 5 mixed dishes, but only half portions, and so we got, although we had no choice in the matter. We got the least favorables that you'd want. (1 snack, 3 main dishes & 1 side salad -No we did not choose this) The semi destroyed Brazilian flag at out table, was denied us to bring home with the words "It needs to stay here, so we don't need to buy more" followed by a authentic demeaning smile, as if he intentionally did not care for his income or job, as I followed to press "No thank you" to the ADD TIP on the credit card machine.

I can only agree with him, the flag needed to stay there, as it probably had been for a long time, looking at it's condition

Absolutely loved this place! It is a family-owned restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. Had the fried fish - absolutely yummy however a huge portion so you can either share with someone or just take the rest home with you. Also, what I truly appreciate is they do have 1/2 portions available.

The service was great. They speak English and Danish. The lady was very kind and sweet. She was the only one cooking for everyone at the restaurant. We did not wait too long, everything came at the right time. Not one complain to make :) Make sure you book the table ahead, it is a small and cosy restaurant.

The atmosphere was super cosy, home-like. Lots of little art everywhere to look at while waiting for food. :)

Unmotivating service, sometimes the waitress even seemed a little annoyed. The menu is somewhat tough to navigate, where some offers were changed when asking for details, e.g. 4 courses became 3.. for the same price. When asking for a smaller apperatife including shrimps, they didn't have any shrimps. Yet when the neighbouring people asked for a main dish with shrimps... they indeed ..did have.. shrimps!.. Seems like they didn't want to bother making all the courses in the menu... 😑 Glad i tried Brazilian food, yet sad I had such a bad experience.. What a luck that I had great company...
