Tingvej 12 — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

As a group of 5, we have just been refused a table. There was one 6-person table and two 2-person tables available. The waitress told us that unfortunately she had promised two people that were outside that they could have that table. I don't understand the logic here. We don't understand why the waitress wouldn't ask the couple if they would mind sitting at one of the other 2-person tables, especially since they haven't even come inside yet to sit. This is not a complaint at the cafe itself or even at the waitress as a person, but I think that the owner/manager should at least be aware that they are losing money from very poor decision making. We were very saddened by this, as we live locally and we love to eat here. I don't think that we will be back...

What an incredible hidden gem! I rarely write a review while I am still sitting at the place in question. And I feel like I don't want anyone to know about this amazing place and just keep it to myself :) Jokes aside - cozy, small, but spacious place with good calm music, friendly staff, great coffee and... phenomenal ricotta toast with tomatoes!
