Came in here to try "what I believed to be the best" bao in town but was a huge letdown. If coming to this establishment, I would recommend ordering through Early Bird (so one can get a reduction in price).
The food was tasty and had a blend of east Asian flavor profiles, though when served, it was all at room temperature and felt somewhat cold. We booked a table at 17:00 on Saturday evening and was one of two tables to arrive first - more tables and takeaway orders followed. Between the Gyozas and Bao arriving - there was a wait of 5 minutes. However, for the last dish - we waited 30 minutes (which is not long, but this dish seemed to be more of a cold noodle dish rather than a warm noodle dish).
There service was good. However, the establishment was lacking staff. For a Saturday evening - they were a total of 3 staff members (2 in BOH and 1 in FOH). This is not a large restaurant as well - where it can fit a maximum of 20 seating guests.
Finally, the lychee mojito was extremely watered down where it tasted just like a bit of rum with sparkling water.
Overall, this was a letdown and the kitchen seemed go prioritize takeaway orders over...
Read moreWe were walking past and noticed vegan options. This is a charming little place & we noticed lots of takeaway pickups. We both said "wow" when we ordered the vegan Baos, you can get them in a combo with dumplings. They were exceptionally good, the quality was really good. I also enjoyed a rice beer, not something I'm used to. I'm not sure it this was enough food for a full inner but we were really happy. Theres a sit on the floor little cove at the back for a cosy more private area for a small party. I sat on a cat cushion above a radiator in the window seat. I was very charmed by the place & the decor. The service was pleasant & relatively quick considering we could see a lot of takeaways being picked up. There's several vegan &...
Read moreCozy and great food! How it works is that they will give you the menu with a stamp and you select what you want to eat. They have a 130dkk for 3 baos, so I selected the classic pork and I thought it was a bit jelly the fat when I saw it. But the flavor it’s amazing! So please try it!. The second was Bulgogi beef, I was expecting a bbq sauce and meat bao, but also the flavor really good and the last one is shrimp fry, also really good.
The attention was also super friendly and they told us that the menu will change for March 2020, so more new things to try out!
We also order the lemonade with ginger, it was a bit sweet for my taste but still a great place...
