This small park is a gem hidden away in Copenhagen (Frederiksberg). It is being kept but the gardener students of the school that is situated right next to the park. Every plant, tree, bush, etc. has a small sign telling the name of the species. This makes the place feel so serene, because you can really go on a journey and get to know the names of so many things, you might not have known already. The are a bunch of small pathways leading through the trees and bushes, making a walk through the park feel adventurous and magical. It is not allowed to play ball/throw freesbee, listen to music on a speaker, grill, bring dogs or bicycle. This makes the park enormously calm and quiet. So if you wanna go for a peaceful stroll or wanna sun bath (should the sun ever be out 😉) then this is the place to visit. I highly recommend this park! One of my favorite green spots in Copenhagen 💜

A really nice little park, part of the adjacent University, and maintained by them. Two ponds, consequently a population of ducks & dragonflies at their appropriate times of year. Lots of mature trees, shrubs & ground plants, all with labels identifying them for the interested observer. A good number of benches placed around the gardens, there's also a dedicated Rose garden, and a decent cafe operated by the Uni students. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, locked between times, no dogs, barbeques, bicycles or music allowed, ensuring peace for all and no danger of encountering 'you know what' when laying down on the grass for a relaxing time in the sun. The locals are very fond of this place and it's definitely a jewel in the area.

This park is very quiet and nice. It has a pod in the middle surrounded by vegetation that is carefully taken care of. Every time I go there it is even better maintained than the time before and it has always been my "go to" place for peaceful walks while I had my daughters sleeping in the pram. There are benches all around to sit down and enjoy the surroundings and a beautiful rose garden that flourishes in Spring.

The University of Copenhagen’s Horticultural Garden  is a peaceful, beautiful garden with flowers and trees from all over the world. There are plenty of benches to sit on or you might prefer to sit on the lawn in the shade of a tree reading or relaxing in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. During the summer period from mid spring to mid autumn there is a café named Café Væksthuset open the daytime in the old greenhouse. The garden is open from sunrise to sunset...
