The place is very nice and clean, except a dog that kept running in and out of the kitchen and around the guests sitting. The menu is fine, very simple but to the point, there is something for everyone. The waiting time was extremely long, almost an hour and 15 minutes for appetizers, without getting any update from the staff if it is on the way. The main course came exactly two hours after we ordered. The food was delicious and looked great as well except one of the curry soups had some veggies much undercooked, so crunchy they felt raw. The staff was very nice and friendly, but the structure in the restaurant seemed messy and unprofessional. No cashier system, no receipt, the table numbers are randomly assigned to a different table each time guests arrive to them. The place and atmosphere is lovely, with better structure and maybe more staff it can become a great place. The starters where tasteful and intriguing - I was almost a bit sad after finishing as usually the main dishes are heavy and rather one-dimensional. But not here - the vegetarian main course was a journey in itself. Every bite was different depending on which parts of the plate you would combine. Read moreWhat a wonderful place. Just what Løkken needs, a place where a vegetarian can have creative and inspired food. Stephen took care of us from the start making sure they could accommodate our needs as late arriving table for 2, 1 of us vegetarian, and with wine pairing recommendations. The table staff was super friendly and helpful. And we even chatted with Chef Thomas to close out the night as we packed up some additional dishes to take home. Everything was delicious, wish would could have tried more! We had Green and Yellow Curries, Spring Rolls and Cauliflower fritters.
