I regret to say that after many months of being a regular customer, my experience at Azuma Sushi in Køge on August 24, 2024, has left me deeply disappointed and concerned for my safety. While dining at what used to be my favorite restaurant, I had the horrifying experience of biting into a piece of glass that cut my tongue. When I approached the staff about this serious issue, their response was shockingly indifferent, with no sincere apology or concern for my well-being. They simply offered a mere 10% discount, which felt like a slap in the face considering the potential danger I was exposed to.
As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I understand how important it is to address such incidents with genuine concern and appropriate compensation. At the very least, I would expect a heartfelt apology and a significant discount or even a complimentary meal to show that they value their customers and their safety. Unfortunately, Azuma Sushi in Køge seems to care more about their bottom line than their customers' well-being.
This experience has shattered my trust in the restaurant. I've brought friends, family, and even my children here numerous times, but after this incident, I no longer feel it's safe to do so. The lack of care and concern is alarming, especially when the safety of children is at risk. On top of that, the staff's constant staring and making us feel uncomfortable while eating, as if they were counting the food we had, was extremely off-putting.
Azuma Sushi in Køge has lost my business, and I will no longer recommend it to anyone. If you value your safety and expect to be treated with respect as a customer, I suggest you think twice before...

Read moreDet er gået meget tilbage for dette sted. Vi har været der flere gange tidligere hvor det har været ganske godt. Efter en pause vendte vi tilbage, og det var katastrofalt. Sushi-båndet var stort set tomt, og der vor kun tangsalat og nogle kyllingeretter der kørte rundt. Vi bad dem lave lidt forskelligt vi valgte på kortet, hvor der rent faktisk var fisk og skaldyr i, men det var virkelig ikke godt. splattet og klistret. Oven i købet ryger de i baglokalet, så der trækker røg ind hvor man sidder og spiser. Det er ærgerligt, fordi det tidligere var det bedste Sushi-sted i Køge. i Dag er det på ingen måde pengene værd.
Det var i øvrigt umuligt at finde ud af hvad mulighederne var i menuen, både a la carte og running sushi, da de henviser til en app der ikke virker (vi prøvede på flere forskellige telefoner).
