Brasseriet Baum — Restaurant in Køge Municipality

My husband and I came to Denmark to get married and wanted to celebrate this special day with some of our relatives. We reached out to this restaurant in advance via email, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and supportive. They reserved a beautiful table for us by the window with a lovely view of the river and provided excellent menu suggestions. We enjoyed our lunch here, but note that the lunch menu is very limited compared to the dinner menu. Big portions but a bit uninspiring food. The risotto was the highlight. Baum’s is in the old lumber-yard, on Køge Å off Torvet. Very atmospheric, good seating inside or outside by the stream. Good food - some tapas-style, others larger dishes. Good wine and Beer. Service friendly, good and present. We got a table without reservation on a Thursday afternoon. 400 DKK for two dishes, a beer and a softdrink.
