Restaurant Il Gallo — Restaurant in Køge Municipality

Pleasanly looking place and the food as well. Starters were very nice, the drinks were ok. The waiting time took a slightly bit longer, for the main course we were waiting for about 40 min. The first disappointment came when i ordered Truffle Ravioli with chicken and found out there were 3(!) pieces of ravioli in, however a lot more chicken. To that the answer of the waitresses was that that is the purpose since they are quite filling. I found that quite disappointing considering I have ordered a PASTA dish for 170 kr. The major turn came when we in the end found hair in the lamb dish to what we got an answer that that is sure not from the kitchen but probably from us (neither of us have hair like this, and i had my hair in a ponytail). At first we were just shut with this argument, but in the end we got a round of drinks...

Update: So lucky my sister lives close by, so we were back after 6 years. Still very delicious food and cozy interior. Fresh ingredients and our drinks were extremely fresh and tasty. The owner lady is so sweet and welcoming. We still love this place. So, a 45-minute drive from Copenhagen City Center was absolutely worth it. ❤️

2 stjerner kan de få, vi var 4 personer. ALLE retter der blev serveret, lå der timian kviste på, carpaccio forret var badet i olivenolie. Mellem forret og hovedret gik der 35 min. Der var bla. bestilt amerikansk oksefilet, og da det bliver serveret, var bøffen badet ind i skysovs så man vidste ikke hvad der var op eller ned, kunne ikke se om den var grillstegt eller kogt, under bøffen lå 2 skiver kartofler lettere grillet. Der blev bestilt noget pistacie fondente på en dødssyg grøn tallerken, det var lidt grønt i grønt ;-( Akustikken i lokalet er...
