Spices of Dansborg — Restaurant in Kolding Municipality

After extensive hunting throughout Europe, we finally found an authentic Indian restaurant in Kolding. Everything tasted great and authentically Indian. According to them, all of the masalas are produced from scratch with only natural ingredients, and they buy all of the meat and veggies every morning before cooking them. They also never use packaged or frozen meals. We can taste how fresh and mouth-wateringly spicy the chicken/lamb pepper fry is. There were no leftovers, and The variety of selections was enjoyed by all 27 of our colleagues. After a long time, we were all really happy with the dinner. Very nice, but the price is really low. The only disappointment is that the inside is modest and clean but lacks a welcoming ambiance.

Hey, I give a lower score because I was expecting something much better. Been eating at indian restuarants in many many countries, and for this one to have 4,8 in score is just not accurate according to my personal refrence. Everything is subjective but personally I like an authentic indian design in the resturant. The music that was playing was off. The food was not that good 3/5 compared to what indian resturants usually are. Maybe sweden has a higher standrad in general in resturants. And rest of europe. I also think you should be given the option taken the order digitally or direcly person to person seemed like they want to avoid human contact as much as possible. The people in this village may really enjoy this resturant but as a traveller by car that just have been all over europe I was dissapointed by the food, the resturant and the bill...

I had tried couple of "Indisk restaurants" but wasn't thoroughly satisfied with the taste, hence went here with almost no expectations. But to my surprise it was worth everything! I tried Pani puri, dahi puri and dosa in dine in and trust me it had authentic Indian taste and crunch!! Neither spicy hot nor plain bland, just the required amount of spices for my taste!! Because of this, I also ordered couple of things in take away. My husband has quite a spicy tastebud so he felt Chicken biryani needed a li'l bit of spices (which I guess we can customise next time!). For me, paneer butter masala had beautifully blended taste!!
