Jataco — Restaurant in Middelfart Municipality

Big restaurant with plenty of space, but it was mostly empty when we visited - maybe for good reason. Service was terrible: our server disappeared after greeting us and never came back to take our order. No one offered water or even tried to sell us sparkling water. They forgot our cutlery, and when I had to go ask for it myself, they just handed me a basic fork and knife…for the table.

The teenage staff clearly didn't care about doing their job properly. What made it worse was watching two restaurant managers sitting at a side table doing paperwork, completely ignoring what was happening. I would have given 5 stars, but the last time I went here the tacos tasted vastly different than they did 10 months ago. Due to recipe changes, there is now barely any vegetables, no guacamole and what is left is solely the meat, some sauce and some pickled vegetables. Back then, the tacos were so delicious filled with meat, significantly more guacamole as well as a greater variety of vegetables. Food was tasteless, I just tasted oil, the only thing I could enjoy was the nachos and I would definitely recommend them as they were layered with cheese so thank god for them or would be 1 star!. Also the chicken is like shredded chicken and I'm not a fan at all. I was really looking forward to this but I've been to a lot of Mexican style restaurants and this is the worst I've ever been to in my life, a bit of a Fraud really.
