We ordered for Take Away: Paneer Naan (3/5) Peshwari Naan (2/5) Garlic Naan (5/5) India Royale Lamb (3/5) Hot Spicy Chicken (3/5) Butter Chicken (2/5) Basmati Rice (1/5) Mango Lassi (4/5)
Naan: The Naans are soft and chewy. But the the Paneer Naan and Peshwari Naan are very poorly filled so it almost tastes like plain Naan (especially the Peshwari Naan).
Indian Royal Lamb: The mutton pieces are very dry. Eventhough the Gravy is enjoyable and not too oily, you can clearly say the spices are not freshly ground but definatly homemade.
Hot Spicy Chicken: the chicken pieces are quite dry (not as dry as the mutton though). But the gravy is very artificial. The spices are Not homemade.
Butten Chicken: the chicken pieces are dry and the spice mix for the gravy is very very artificial. Its a low budget readymade spice mix. And also the color of the gravy is very very unnatural.
The Basmati Rice: is not wahshed clean before cooking. It was Only Half cooked and had no salt in it. Its the worst. We had to fully cook the rice at home before consuming it.
Mango Lassi: is very tasty. But its not cooled enough. And its made of tinned Mango pulb and there are no fresh mangos used.
The portions are reasonable for the price but the quality of ingredients is way too low for the price they charge.
I will definatly order their Mango Lassi and...
Read moreWe were here for a quick lunch.
The place looked very cozy and expensive. Good indian touch for aesthetics. Nice job But…
We ordered pepsi, lamb korma, rice and garlic naan.
They don’t have coke so, had to settle with pepsi which came with lime in it which i personally don’t like it.
Portion of the food was very less compared to the prices might be paying for brand and aesthetics of place. Thats fine.
But, things started going down hill when the quality of food didn’t match the place as the rice didn’t felt fresh and it was lumpy and had no taste. However taste of lamb korma was ok, as it should be but nothing special.
Garlic naan was also good.
The tables they have are also very small and close to each other, for that less food we ordered the table felt very full and a lot of struggles to fit the big menu card they have.
Service is also something they should work a bit more on. After we were done with food we asked for bill and they said just a moment for which we waited 30 min before we asked another waiter for bill. That was a bit waste of time for us.
Of-course recommended for a try but with a bit of flaws they need to work on other wise it a good place with nice vibe.
Ambience: ✅Good. Food: Needs...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! I ordered from Just Eat at around 7PM on Monday, and the delivery time was 8:05PM. At 8:30PM, my food was still not delivered, and I called Namaste, but no one answered. After calling several more times, a lady finally answered and she told me she would check on my food and call back in a minute. At 8:50PM (20 minutes after the lady answered the first time), I called the restaurant again, but again no one answered the phone. I called several more times and still no one answered the phone. At this point, I was concerned that I would not be getting any dinner. At 9:05PM - 1 hour after my food was supposed to be delivered, my food finally arrived. I was not given any explanation for the delay, and I was given a Coke Zero as an apology for the delay. The food was also barely warm when it arrived, but I was relieved to finally have dinner. It is unacceptable that it takes 2 hours to make and deliver food from a restaurant! And it is even more unacceptable that Namaste could not answer the phone and call me back when I finally got...
