There's nothing much to this place other than the location. Don't be fooled by the high rating. The food is average, nothing extraordinary. So, there's nothing much to talk about it anyway. Now comes the service! First of all, they charge you for tap water on a per person basis ie. 30 DKK for each person! Like seriously?? After ordering over 600 DKK worth dinner, you don't even give complementary tap water to drink ?! This was a deal breaker. And no, not all Danish restaurants charge for tap water, so that is not a norm. But apparently this high-end restaurant does! Do they notify you that the tap water is chargeable? No! Is the price of tap water mentioned on the menu? No! Upon ordering beef steak, do you get asked if the steak should be done rare or well done? No! At the end of your meal, do you get asked if you would like to have any dessert or coffee? No! Go there if you like this kind of surprises that you don't even expect in an average restaurant, let alone a highly priced upscale restaurant. But I am definitely not going there again and would strongly advise people against it. There are a lot of similar or even better restaurants in terms of food, don't bother to waste your money here. Charging people for tap water without notifying them is nothing short of cheating people. You want people to pay for even tap water? The service in this restaurant is a joke! Worst experience ever!!! We walked in at 16:45 and we were told the Kitchen is closed until 17:00. We decided to seat and order drinks until then. To our surprise, the waitress told us we cannot order drinks as she was just told! not even allowed to have a seat until 17:00!!! this was whilst other people were already seating and it was apparent that they had just gotten their beers!!! The pork looked like dog treats/beef jerk. It was dry/tough and impossible to chew served with a flavorless white sauce. Beets and potatoes tasted like they had come from cans. Lemon sole was just ok. Charged for tap water (?!) and service was virtually non existent.
