Jettes Diner — Restaurant in Svendborg Municipality

I was waiting for 25 minutes at a table outside, but nothing happened.

I noticed in the menu, that customers, who are sitting outside, should walk inside and deliver the order there and then go outside again.

This just can’t be right. This is a restsurant which is dependent upon delivering service to customers.

Instead, Jettes Diner is not practicing this but instead profit maximizing.

The fact that you have done this for so many years doesn’t change the fact that this is a total lack of service in an industry where you are dependent upon good service.

Very interesting place, it’s like stepping into 1990, with both the atmosphere and food. Sadly also includes the hygiene standards.

I had the fish, tender and quite tasty, well cooked overall. Included salad had a bit much vinegary flavor, but I’m sure that’s from the American inspired cuisine.

Burgers are a big selling point here, and it’s probably what you should order as well. It’s a big portion, while I don’t get one personally it did seem like the most popular dish.

The kitchen is quite dirty, and chicken and beef is cooked on the same skillet. I would say the possibility of cross contamination is quite high, but they got a happy smiley from the authorities so I’m...

Had lamb with salad. Meat was dry, either overcooked or from cold preheated in microwave. Did not taste as a fresh cook. Best part from salad was 3 olives.

Not to mention potatoes that must’ve been preheated several times. Trying to cut one ended up squashing it, only dry skin was holding it together, even dry inside.

Meal looked nice and big, I was really hungry, but still couldn’t finish it as it did not taste good.

Waiting time was quick, as ordering a fresh piece of meat usually takes longer than any other meal. That also makes me think the meal was not cooked from raw.
