A Wonderful Experience at Glass – Absolutely Fantastic!

We visited Glass with our kids and were truly impressed. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed – especially thanks to the owner, Helen, who served us personally with such kindness and care. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and very family-friendly – a big plus!

The food was just as delightful. The flammkuchen were served warm, perfectly crispy, and full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the unique selection of drinks from Denmark and New York – a refreshing and exciting change from the usual offerings.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the freshly baked chocolate cake – crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside. An absolute dream for both kids and adults.

Visited here in August and were denied service. We tried to get some coffee and some lunch from the promising menu. My friendly greeting was met with little enthusiasm but I wouldn't mind someone being less outgoing or just having a bad day. When I tried to order however the person at the counter said their not sure what from the menu they could offer since they had to serve the other guests (4 in total). I said we'd be flexible, understanding it can be challenging to run a small business. After 10 minutes of us waiting however they refused service alltogether in a very awkward manner. Such a lovely café!! We found it "on accident", while searching for a warm place to wait for the train. The service was welcoming, friendly and accommodating (English, Danish and German). It's small and mighty but that's exactly what gave it the warm and homely feeling. The menu is ginormous for such a small space and has tons of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options!!
