Loved this restaurant, small portion of Italy (Sicily) in the center of Tønder. Great food, simple but very nice menu and after meeting Thomas, the owner and chef you understand why this restaurant has this very interesting and strong connection to Italy. The food was fresh and the portions perfect, we got a great red wine to match as a recommendation from one of the waiters, who also allowed us to taist their unique on-house gin. This charming little known hideaway is a little piece of Scicillian heaven right here in Tønder! The owner is very friendly and shared with us some interesting stories of his homeland. The restaurant is very cozy although it’s not that spacious inside. The service was fine, it’s just that we can see there is needed training, not that we are seeing as the negative side, it’s just a recommendation to make the restaurant more welcoming.
