"O'live" — Restaurant in Higüey

This restaurant feels fancy, even posh. Since the arrival you are treated quite professionally. The appetizers were right size, to make the taste for the main dish. Salmon cut to paper thin slices seasoned nicely. Mozzarella could have been less cheese more cherry tomatoes. The main dish was a quite a disappointment, I went for a blind shot for beef tagliata, not knowing what it is. Medium steak arrived quite big and correctly. Medium cooked, but half of the meat was not easily edible, all chewy and fat. And.. no sides to it. On the other hand we said, it is not possible to mess lasagne in an Italian restaurant. We'll it was more of a meshed meat covered with a slice of beshamel and lasagna pasta piece. No separator sections with another pasta, just a big hunk of meat. I could rather go for a carbonara.. Who knows, maybe that wouldn't be messed up. The deserts were small delicious end...
