Bohemian Tapas and Wine Bar — Restaurant in Higüey

An absolute necessity if you are staying in Cap Cana.

I've eaten here at least 2-3 times a week for the last 3 years I've lived here.

It is one of the only CONSISTENT restaurants around.

The location is convenient, nestled in the heart of Fishing Lodge, and on nights they have live music you'll be looking forward to your next time back.

The staff is excellent, always attentive, yet fun and constantly creating an inviting atmosphere.

The food is great and varied depending on your taste. Plus, if you enjoy wine they have a unique selection that pairs perfectly.

And the owner is second to none. Hicham puts effort into greeting every client and making sure their dining experience is a great one.

I highly recommend spending your evening here!

If you're lucky, you'll be served by the owner Hamesh, a larger-than-life enthusiastic and proud host who runs this conglomeration of businesses* very successfully, setting a high standard of service, esthetics, and good cuisine. Al fresco dining under string lights with a remarkably diverse Mediterranean menu, everything was pleasant. The shrimp teriyaki dumplings were light and flavorful. The lamb shank was so tender, had robust flavor, and a delicious gravy over mashed potatoes with a highlight of raisins. The house red wine was Malbec and was of a high standard, as was everything else about this evening. We eat at good restaurants often back home. Finding a great dinner in Punta Cana has been more challenging. Ate at Bohemian in Cap Cana. Our entrees were very good, and our tapas were excellent ! Ribs, shrimp tempura, steak tacos recommended. The only thing better was the service. I hope I remember correctly, but I think our waiter was Jaun. I got better service from Juan than I get in five star restaurants back home - and I live in a foodie town. What a great experience. And the price was so reasonable. Wow. If you're in Cap Cana and looking for a great experience, go here. I might eat there every night the rest of my trip. I recommend just getting tons of tapas, and then reordering...
