Burger King - Puerto Plata — Restaurant in Puerto Plata

The young women at the register overcharged us. When we brought it to her attention that the bill was incorrect. She acted like she did not understand. My husband ordered a large combo, burger fries, and a soda. I ordered a double burger with extra pickles, no ketchup, and a diet soda. I did not receive the soda even though she checked the fridge behind the counter to check if they had diet soda when I placed my order. My burgers came with no tomatoes or lettuce. When I told her, she said that is how I ordered it. We told her several times that 1 large combo and 1 double burger do not cost 20 dollars and change. She eventually reluctantly opened her register and threw 100 pesos on the counter. If she wasn't being shady, she would have to do some type of refund through the register. Otherwise, at the end of her shift, her register draw would not count out correctly. On top of overcharging us, she had a nasty attitude. Small Burger King. Large poster displaying their new breakfast item call the meganormous. Which when I asked for it, they did not know what I was asking for even though the poster is large and calls it exactly as stated. When I point to poster they still didnt understand. A local customer then translated for the waitress and it was then I found out they don’t make it but I could have a similar thing. Anyways, it was kind of funny. They didn’t have any change for 500 pesos and I ended up getting 7 10 peso coins and a 5 peso coin and one 100. Food was ok. It’s located in the Gas station...

Burger King is one of my favorites, but this location is consistently disappointing. I finally gave up after realizing they aren't going to improve. The bread is often stale and hard, the lettuce often rotting, green unrip tomatoes, pay extra for bacon and get a little flake, the onion ring portions are skimpy, the meat smells off, drinks are flat. My expectations for fast food are low, but even this location falls short and there is always a mixture of one of these...
