A hidden Italian gem in Santo Domingo! We found this eatery while searching Google for a place to grab lunch after visiting Los Tres Ojos. We drove by first, thinking it wasn’t the place for us. It looked like a hole in the wall with little space to park or sit and eat. But after our other Google options didn’t turn out, we returned to discover a true secret!! Our party of 8 could not have been more pleased with our authentic, personal, Italian experience! The owner has comfortable, private seating for groups. He recommended Crostini Sapori Italiani for an appetizer: an Italian toast with various spreads. Delicious! For lunch we had 3 pizzas: 4 cheese, Diavola Picante, Pedro, La Reina Burrata y Speck, and Gourmet M.P.S. All amazing and like nothing we’ve had before! We also tried tiramisu and natural Italian juices. We highly recommend everything! We will definitely return on our next trip! Thank you Italia Mía! You did not disappoint!

La pizza 4 quesos - Es con masa fresca, el borde está rico pero siento quedó muy fina para tanto queso, realmente muy fina, no lleva salsa de tomate, deberían llamarla pizza blanca. Buen sabor en los quesos. La pasta a la Carbonara es súper original, sin crema de leche y con guancale, tiene mucha pimienta, se siente es recién molida, aprecio el detalle y el sabor exquisito. La pasta al dente. Vale la pena, pero preferiría comer en el restaurante, siento que pudo estar mucho mejor sin el proceso de empaque y translado ya que está orden fue por UberEats. Actualizacion: Despues de 6 meses de conocer la comida de Italia Mia quiero darles un poco más de detalles. Los burgers exquisitos, el pan es de muy buena calidad, al igual que el sabor de la carne, mucho mejor que lugares que se especializan en burgers. Las pastas de alta calidad, sabores sutiles y originales. El servicio de croquetas sale calientito y es de buen tamaño la orden. Me encanta el nivel de picante que trae la Diavola, lo súper original de la Americana, lo seguro que es ir por la de Prosciutto y lo interesante que es la Bomba Calabrese. Las Salchichas Italianas son una maravilla, jugosa y sabrosa, y increíblemente las papas fritas que tienen son muy buenas, y a mí no me gustan las papas fritas normalmente, pero estas a veces hasta falta me hacen. No me gustó particularmente la Mozzarella en Carroza, pero entiendo es cuestión de gusto. Me falta probar la Lasagna y Canelones, y los calzones, algún que otro plato nuevo o de temporada, pero luego les hago una actualización. Conclusión - La mejor Pizzería Restaurante de la Zona Oriental, altamente recomendado y particularmente encantada con el servicio y la atención a los detalles.

Mr. Daniel is really passionate about Italian food and shared his culture with us and was very passionate and welcoming. He is really nice. The food was extremely delicious and the portions were so large that we had to take some home from how full we were. Some of the cheese is personally prepared by Mr. Daniel and is really delicious! Probably one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in my life. It was surprising too because we went here pretty randomly after visiting the aquarium and were nit expecting it to be this comprehensive and good.

WOW this place is amazing!! I have been to Italy 4 times and grew up in Queens NY, so I know Italian food. We had the mozzarella sticks starter, pizza margarita and white sauce linguine with shrimp. And of course, tiramisu for dessert. Everything was super fresh and delicious and very homemade tasting. The owner Daniele is a real Italiano from Milan and made us feel very comfortable (he speaks English, Italian and Spanish) he boast many ingredients he uses is imported from Italy, I had a Peroni beer (same one I drink every time I go to Italy) the decor is very cool and fun to look at, there is a few dining area options: outdoor cafe type, main dining area, private rooms (reservation required) and a romantic rooftop. My husband and I visited Italia Mia- Pizza & Burger, and were amazed, not only at the quality of food but also the service. We had the Fritos all”Italiana for appetizer, and spaghetti a la carbonara, Cannelloni With red sauce for main course, and finally we end the meal with a Rótulo with Nutella and the most delicious coffee. This is easily one of, if not the best Italian restaurant in Santo Domingo DR. I can’t recommend this place enough !! Such a perfect place to enjoy a real Italian meal. Can’t wait to visit you again.
